Privacy Policy for Eventgram
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Eventgram is operated by Eventgram Technologies, Pune, Maharashtra, India. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to Event Hosts and Event Guests.
Our commitments
- We do not sell event photos or videos, use them in marketing without written permission, or train AI or facial-recognition models on them.
- Event galleries are private by default: reachable through the event QR code or share link, plus an optional event password.
- Guests do not need an account, and we do not run third-party advertising or behavioural-analytics scripts.
What we collect
- Hosts: name, email address, Clerk user ID and authentication metadata; for paid plans, plan and credit balance, Dodo customer and payment identifiers, billing country, and payment-confirmation data. Eventgram never stores full card numbers.
- Guests: uploaded photos and videos, an optional display name and caption, likes and comments, upload timestamp, the event code, a salted per-browser key that lets the browser delete its own upload, and a hashed per-device key used for upload rate limits.
- All visitors: technical request data processed at Cloudflare's edge, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamp. Short-lived rate-limit keys that may include the address are kept for up to a day to stop abuse, then purged; they are not used to build a profile. Eventgram's application database does not store user-agent strings.
- Media intelligence: a small client-rendered thumbnail, plus model-generated tags, caption and family-safety signal. Up to 150 images per event are analysed, and the Host can turn this off.
AI processing and photo metadata
Thumbnails sent to Cloudflare Workers AI are used to generate searchable tags, a short caption and a family-safety signal. This is generic image understanding, not facial recognition, and the model is not trained on your media. Original files may keep camera metadata, including GPS location; Eventgram does not strip EXIF from originals.
Storage and deletion
The storage window starts when an event ends: when the Host ends it, or automatically 14 days after the event date. Free keeps media for 30 days; Party for 12 months; Wedding for 24 months; Signature for 36 months. The dashboard warns before deletion, and the Host can download a ZIP archive. The full policy lists the known gaps in automatic deletion and how to request a verified deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a supervisory authority. Guests should contact the Host first about gallery content, then us if the Host does not respond.
